it's evidence as to why the industry is what it is. inflation is even higher, wages are still stagnated, but game budgets are higher too. yet people *still* balk when AAA games cost more than $60

so of course you have DLC, mtx, etc. or steam, an economy based on race-to-the-bottom 90% discounts

the most striking thing about this to me is that 30 years ago, the editor of this magazine was pointing out inflation made then-AAA games too expensive, even though they'd stalled in price

they were $60

still useful on modern because either way they're on the brink of death, and CA of course kills, and the setup is great! just a little disappointed that doing a single modern input makes this like 80 damage short of an actual kill lol

unfortunately i realized i made a mistake setting this up and did it again, but i realized you only get enough damage on modern controls to make this a true two touch if you do all manual inputs (and is more difficult because normally 2M > H gives you the TC and not 4HP, you have to delay)
