Comedian, ADHD-haver, dickhead. Quite left, but trying to be inclusive. Father, husband, veteran, dickhead, man who repeats himself.

Photo is not me.
He can still be found guilty of an international crime if the victims belong to a nation that recognises the international court (e.g. Venezuela).

Apparently he was an absolute RIOT as well. He was in James Brown's band (he got kicked out for being too flamboyant), and used to do impressions of Brown.
But his favourite music? Beethoven.

He was so softly spoken. I wonder (as a white man) if that's because of racism. And the answer is obvious.

I can't understand why they're going after either group, but I wonder if they know what "intersex" actually means.

Intersex is not the same as trans.

These people are Barbarians.

Shame Australia's conspicuously absent... and 30 other countries.
December 5, 2025 at 4:53 AM
To be fair, one of them was probably just drunk.

Beneath Hill 60 is an Aussie movie and well worth watching. They'd dig tunnels to invade enemy trenches and they'd dig close enough to plant MASSIVE (990,000 lbs/450 tonnes) bombs.

To be fair, tunnelling was a HUGE part of trench warfare. (See Beneath Hill 60 as an example.)
That's where the Private rank title for army engineers comes from in Commonwealth countries.
Tunnels and trenches (esp. under walls or obstacles) are "saps", so engineers become "sappers".

Some Googling for everyone:

Admiral Richard Greville Arthur Wellington Stapleton-Cotton (1873-1953) and his dog, Tinker.

I was a Sig. I'm actually Aussie, but I was deployed to Afghanistan.
December 2, 2025 at 12:14 PM
True. I wasn't in a combat corps, so we rarely had that luxury!

In the military, there's a concept called "top cover". Basically, if someone higher up thinks it's the right thing to do, it's the right thing to do.

I mean, usually this applies to going home early or getting on a course, not killing literal boatloads of foreign civilians.
December 2, 2025 at 3:49 AM
So he's going to fudge the midterms. And not by a little bit.
December 1, 2025 at 11:07 AM
That just shows how off-script you are. Politics is supposed to be boring. Not, "AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
November 28, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Broadly speaking, yes, you are.

Not you, but America will.
November 28, 2025 at 11:19 AM
But what do we do about it? Are people with FTD susceptible to suggestion or something? He needs to be conversationally walked into admitting he's something MAGA don't want.
November 28, 2025 at 10:46 AM
Is this his famous "charisma" people talk about? Calling people "stupid" and "Piggy"?

Really? I always thought Americans valued politeness.
November 28, 2025 at 10:40 AM
Is that a real photo? Because 🤢.

I'm an atheist too. But I disagree with your take that religion is purely negative. It's regularly perverted, but at it's core, religion is cultural. The values we adopt for better or worse are cultural. But also, in some envirinments, faith brings comfort. That's positive.

At best it's a mixed bag, but so is almost everything. Capitalism has given us amazing technology, etc... but it's condemned millions to poverty and starvation.
November 27, 2025 at 9:04 AM
It certainly can be. It gives people hope, it gives people reasons to be good, kind, forgiving, charitable, generous... it's often used as a wedge, though, it can create an US and THEM mindset. It has been used to justify some really awful stuff (Crusades, Mother Theresa, Spanish Inquisition)...

Thank you! I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I'll take the well-wishing! I hope you have a day filled with just enough family and too much food!

Have a great holiday season!
November 27, 2025 at 8:58 AM
Yeah. Churches and discreet faiths are ways of organising people. Organising to do what? That's the real question.
November 27, 2025 at 6:17 AM
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
