He/him. Periodic writer about movies, regular musings about everything else. Former writer/podcaster; now i'm just trying to post through it.
We got there around 630 and stayed at the main area until around 9. We didn't have much luck there, but we talked with someone who said they had better luck further down the beach by the dunes all the way past the bird sanctuary entrance. These pictures were around 930/945 over there.

I've heard nothing but good things about this one.

I do as well, but I wonder if it's a little cheap to goose the suspense in that way. Then again, it's really thoughtfully done and a showcase for the sound design. I was more just curious whether you thought it was a weakness.

Completely agree. It's been ages since i've seen the movies (2 is my favorite, I think?), but the formal tech opportunities were always my favorite thing about that series. Not the character work. One other question, any thought about the fade to black transitions to set up the next scene?

Just wanted to mention that it recently came back to Hulu if any of your readers still have that service and want to catch up on it.

What did you think overall, Keith? We were all kind of blown away what they did with the premise, the two story production, the marital drama (skeptic/non-skeptic) element, etc. I'm a little mixed about the ending, but it kind of had to end in that way.

Our audience lost our mind at that part!
