Here’s a recent statement from that mother about the fight Walker is still putting up in the child support case
sollenbergerrc.bsky.social
Herschel Walker (2025 self-declared net worth between $32M-$80M) is currently fighting the mother of one of his secret kids in court over how much he pays in child support. Walker also reimbursed this same mother for an abortion, sent her a “get well” card, and then denied it when he ran for Senate.

NEW—US Department of Education sent out standard Out of Office language to employees on Wednesday in light of shutdown. Later yesterday, workers tell me they found someone had updated their auto-responses without consent to a new one blaming Democrats.

Version of original on left, updated on right:
Thank you for your email. There is a temporary shutdown of the U.S. government due to a lapse in appropriations. I will respond to your message as soon as possible after the temporary shutdown ends. Please visit ED.gov for the latest information on the
Department's operational status.
Thank you. Thank you for contacting me. On September 19, 2025, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 5371, a clean continuing resolution. Unfortunately, Democrat Senators are blocking passage of H.R. 5371 in the Senate which has led to a lapse in appropriations. Due to the lapse in appropriations I am currently in furlough status. I will respond to emails once government functions resume.

No one signed this trash, and the Pentagon is now going to be “clarifying its terms”

Jeez. Trump’s first-term El Salvador ambassador, in 2020, fired a U.S. embassy contractor at the request of the president of El Salvador because the contractor was investigating his ties to MS-13. This term, the ambassador — Ronald Johnson — is Trump’s ambassador to Mexico.

I say this as a former student of his, Scott Jennings is the most disingenuous person I've met in my entire life.

In 2023, DHS Inspector General found ICE broke the law when using location data harvested from phones, saying ICE “did not have sufficient policies & procedures in place to ensure that the location data was used appropriately.“

The Biden White House then killed the program. Trump started it back up

If it’s Option B, I wonder what the NYT editorial team would think if they knew they’d publishing something that fundamentally dishonest, intentions aside — which may explain his blindly and publicly doubling down on the premise. I’d like to hear someone ask him when he learned about the Jan 6 stuff

It doesn’t seem Ezra Klein knew very much about the things Charlie Kirk actually said and did when he wrote that piece, and the interview with Coates suggests he still hasn’t dug too deep. Either that or the piece is a deeply cynical, bad-faith attempt at bridge-building
sollenbergerrc.bsky.social
Will say yet again that it seems Ezra Klein still may not even be aware that Charlie Kirk was an unrepentant 2020 election denier who fundraised for the Jan 6 rally & literally bused people to DC — a well known, clear fact that by itself undermines approximately all of Ezra’s argument

Ezra Klein’s moral collapse is one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen in politics

Spent the last decade reading conservative blogs use the word "Orwellian" more than they used the word "the" and now they're literally just saying "War is Peace" out loud in front of everybody.

Hegseth: "As history teaches us, the only people who actually deserve peace and those who are willing to wage war to defend it. That's why pacifism is so naive and dangerous."

Trump, speaking very clearly, not joking in any way at all, to hundreds of his top military commanders and their advisers: You will deploy to American cities led by my political opponents to fight “a war from within.”

Today, Rep. Cory Mills had the second hearing in his restraining order case. Remarkably, in that hearing, Mills seems to have openly and unhesitatingly admitted — under oath — to what seems like felony firearms possession in Washington, D.C.

Donald Trump has directed DOJ to investigate George Soros's philanthropy & political funding — donations that stretch back decades, when Soros and his young protege named Scott Bessent built that empire, with Bessent becoming a billionaire political funder himself

Here's a non-paywalled link to my reporting last year about Bessent's long, close working friendship with Soros web.archive.org/web/20240209...

Why didn’t The Hill or anybody look at what actually went down instead of taking at face value an email from Cory’s attorney that on its face didn’t actually tell the story that they put in the headline???
sollenbergerrc.bsky.social
Last month, Rep. Cory Mills—facing a restraining order—planted an email saying DC police closed their probe into his girlfriend’s assault allegation (later recanted). Headlines said “DC police closed the case.” Turns out the police presented the case to DC US Attorney—Jeanine Pirro—who made the call
