You can do the work. But the freedom of design choices offered by 3D does not translate necessarily to a more meaningful experience. But it's sure something that troubles the author.

Although you touched on the topic on X, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of you utilizing 3D as an extension to the breadth of your 2D work. Judging from MWINYD, you may be too meticulous for your own good & adding another dimension may not suit your indiosynchasies.
