When I said that genAI is inherently fascist, this is what I meant -- not just that only fascists are making use of genAI, but that genAI has a specific aesthetic that is now inseparable from modern fascism.

we need to move beyond ai skepticism into outright ai antagonism. if you're using ai for your bullshit i'm calling you a moron and hiding your phone charger. i'm setting up a vacation house in your walls. i'm claiming squatters rights in your powder room
it's jolting how little AI skepticism has reached the general public. i've had many acquaintances ask whether i use AI for research and seem shocked when i tell them it's completely useless for that purpose. my wife recently told her colleagues about hallucinations and it was news to all of them.
