I got the vintage bubble lights to work! I found this guy who repairs all things retro on YouTube & he perfectly explained how to get them going. When they finally started bubbling, I was beside myself with joy! I haven’t seen these since I was a tiny tot. I’ll get the others installed tomorrow. 🥹

A magical sight this morning: whitetail deer grazing in the farmer’s field! Two bucks and a doe. After the bucks left, the doe and I stood and looked at each other for a long while. Such lovely creatures. 🦌

I spoke a bit too soon! She is perturbed, patrolling back-and-forth between them like a little mall cop. 😅

However, she will settle in eventually, because you can only poke at what is (essentially) a moving rock so much before you get bored.
