We once easily escaped a kid named Vinny who drove some old boat like a Caprice Classic or something that he had installed red and blue flashers behind the front grill in. He used to go around pretending to be a cop trying to pull over unwitting kids that way. We knew better. “Not tonight Vinny 😈”

They called it “The coffin car”. It was dark grey with a red interior. The whole of the headliner was too droopy from the adhesive having completely failed, so we had stapled it back up at multiple points.

I& owned a gas engine Rabbit like that in the early 2000’s. Hands down the funnest car we’ve ever driven. Very zippy. Very responsive steering and gas pedal. Perfect for when you need to get the hell out of somewhere fast.
