The Street is a well known gay friendly bar for music.
Always DJs on in the basement . Dance music but can vary

CC Blooms , haven't been there but my wife reckons more pop

Underground Solutions in Cockburn Street for good record shop for dance.
A bit further Thorne records in Bruntsfield.
