An experienced community activist, Sam Foster has worked on anti-gentrification efforts, eviction resistance campaigns, and mutual aid organising. He represents the Aylesbury Estate, which is subject to one of the biggest regeneration programmes in Europe.

Southwark Green Party is delighted to annouce that Councillor Sam Foster has joined the Green Party and will be the Green Party’s second Southwark Council councillor, alongside Councillor Kath Whittam who joined the party in November 2025.
