These are tall humanoids with very distinct feline features, a feline muzzle, long fangs, and all-covering fur in addition to a more humanoid-normative head of hair. Chi'bal's hair and fur is all-black, her hair like coal and her fur like graphite. Her ears are sharply curved, and she has two very long and thick whiskers (the way they're modeled kind of make them look like long sprouting asparagus.) Her eyes, with feline-styled pupil slits, are of a deep and striking amber color (picked to resemble a chartreux). Her long and sharp fangs reach out of her mouth and halfway down her chin, white and carefully kept clean. Her head of hair is wavy and messy, tightly tied back over her scalp to keep it out of her face. It reaches past her chin, but not quite to her shoulders. She has a braid at the side of her face, tied with a neat little metallic ring. Around her neck hangs an eye-catching necklace, its elliptical pendant gilded and inlaid with an bright-red oval stone of red obsidian. The rest of her outfit is of sensible leather with plenty of buckles, though her undershirt is boldly unbuttoned about halfway. She is wielding her two Viper swords, colloquially known as fangs, and pointing one of them at the observer with a faint smirk. There is a Depth of Field-effect to the picture, blurring both the background and part of the blade in the foreground.

Context: Nistra is currently stationed in Tailfeather, by now a full-fledged Chocobo Huntress. The two Duskwights, strangers to one another, were embroiled in a Hunt with a team of other Centurio Hunters in the area, culminating in a highly aggressive, blood-fevered Tyrannosaur being shot down from atop the waterfalls of the Hundred Throes, and crushed against the rocks from the fall. The Hunters rushed to relocate the carcass to the riverbank, in order to minimize potential water contamination as it seemed likely that the presumed blood-fever (think a sort of blood-frothing rabies) spreads by blood. Having secured the carcass, the team's Hunter-Scholar advises Nistra to write home, to warn about pollution risks; the waterfalls feed into the Whilom River, Tailfeather's source of freshwater. As time is of the essence, she is asked to send the message via her Hawk, Hervor. Utterly exhausted from the Hunt, Nistra calls down her hawk and picks out the writing implements from her furs. She shoves the quill, ink and scrap of paper into the hands of Verain, insisting he writes the note. With a smirk, he insists in return that he needs a surface to write against, and requests Nistra's shoulder. Utterly spent and for once disinclined to argue, Nistra reluctantly obliges, seething and simmering all the while.

Experimenting more with separate backgrounds because the last comic wasn't editing torture enough, now putting my own environments together using the cozy medieval diorama builder Tiny Glade.

Page eight, the final bonus page. In black and white sketch-like monochrome, we see two much less elaborate panels. The top one shows Khan throwing their hands in the air while Milia is startled, the scenery past the cliff replaced with black text reading: "FUUUUCK YEEEEEAAAAH" while Milia simply goes "?!!". The second panel shows two NPC's, zombie-like early game enemies who are armored like medieval soldiers. The background behind them is replaced with slightly more faded text reading "WOOOHOOOOO!" across the entire page, which elicits the response of "Eugh?" in one of the soldiers, the way they groan in the game when detecting the player. Huge list of easily spawnable props usually difficult to access in the game. Stuff like emote props (like the bread from /bread) and standalone items like Zero's hat.
Just the option of having things spawn right in the character's hands, too...
