I like to make things. I used to make things professionally, now I make things for fun. Theme Parks are really the best.

I bought this model kit about fifteen years ago. It's the Möwe, a jet powered glider from Nausicaä and the Valley of the Wind. I started it during the Covid-19 and then put it aside. I finally finished it tonight and I'm pretty happy with the final piece.

I didn't know the original artist was Nikkolas Smith. Sorry, it should've been credited.

...stupid fangirl bullshit hours re: the end of ep 5 #monkeywrench
fanart from the indie series Monkey Wrench, in which Beebs has given Shrike his shirt because his police uniform has been confiscated. Unfortunately he gets it back by the end of the episode, but, the concept....
Shrike, a thin, short alien wears a black shirt far too big for him, gesturing to himself, "what, do you just have like a hundred of the same fucking clothes?" Beebs, his much larger colleague with a beard and cyborg parts, yells back "No, shrike, I have like two, and that's one of them. you're welcome." and shrike is distraught "you realize how that's worse??", Beebs throws his hands up in frustration, "sorry for giving you the LITERAL shirt off my back"

I don't know the source material, but you've added so much personality here, I'm kind of in awe. Those expressions are awesome.

I remember staring at those miniaturized people when I was a young kid, trying to see if they matched up with the people going in. Yeah, I was pretty sure it was real back in the day!

Holy shit, it worked! My Haunted Mansion plaque is nearly there! And the lighting makes it look *great*! #Disneyland

Here's a tombstone I made 20 years ago from a plaster relief I found at a home and garden store. I need to repaint it before I put it out in the yard.

It feels like my Haunted Mansion plaque is finally coming together. I sprayed primer first, followed by a dark, textured stone spray paint, covered that in a satin finish hunter green and dusted it with matte Spanish moss. #Disneyland

The Haunted Mansion plaque is prepped for painting tomorrow. I finally got the 3D printed frame bodyshopped and got my cricut mask in place. Here's hoping!

If you get a little bit of heat shrink tubing, slide it over the exposed wire and then apply a little heat (via hair dryer) they'll last a while longer...

Sorry for the confusion...

Thanks! (Although for this project, it's the talking skull before the drop I need. I should have specified that...)

Oh, that'd be great. It's such a weird angle, off to the left or right side. Probably why there's not much reference out there.

Well, I'm hitting Disneyland tomorrow to see if I can visualize the way the jaw fits the skull at the Pirates of the Caribbean. The lighting on the ride makes this one view almost impossible to get. Nevertheless I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so far.

Without downloading anything new, where are you mentally?
Sad, wet raccoon standing in the water, shoulders slumped. Text reads "for the fuckteenth time"

Where is that? I'd go just for the chickens!
