Ok - deep breath. Still working on 'flags' - these are a fragment - the ending verses - flag/page imagery, conflating domestic violence with other conflicts, but the image idea falls flat at the end - this has been driving me nuts.

I had to rise at 5 am from a dream that this one came to tell me her ailing and elderly partner in crime :(Billy-cat, 17) had to go out and pee. I believe her even in my dreams.
