Whenever I see a chart telling me to be angry the first thing I look at is whether there’s a 0 mark on the Y axis.

I grow suspicious of the presenter when there isn’t, no matter how much their story aligns with my biases.

It’s not meant to be an argument for them at all, and it’s wildly inaccurate in that is suggests they are strictly different. They aren’t. Lots of overlap and infinite possibility.

Not capitalist would identify as “left”. Iroquoisan longhouses worked, weren’t capital, and fit nowhere in that list.

Communists typically believe in planned economies.

Anarchists often believe in inexact exchanges through mutual aid networks.

All of those explanations are so glibly oversimplified that they’re awful without more context.
