Today I (the only manager or supervisor in the building) helped a male new hire do a beneficiary add on a male customer’s account, but the customer had to clarify we wouldn’t tell his beneficiary (his wife) bc “women are crazy” and he made eye contact with the male new hire as I’m standing there 😑

There’s very little in life that brings me joy at this point & I’m starting to feel numb from all the insanity we’re living through in the Divided States of America. I don’t see a future including homeownership. I don’t see possibility to create and afford a family. I don’t see the ability to retire
