Exactly. Auto-tune annoys the shit out of me, and unless it's either deliberate, or so briefly there, that I can blow passed it, it's just a way to make people who can't sing, sound "good". Like I'm sure Mariah had voice lessons, but those Christmas songs were not some of her best music.

That and the blatant auto-tune. Normally I have no problem with whistle tone, but with her voice, it just doesn't sound good

Any Mariah Carey Christmas song. No it's not because of the "she's defrosting" meme. It's because to myself, her voice is like a fork scraping against a chalkboard.
