While I do agree with some of your points, I think it’s unfair to say that the whole game is “all edge, no point”. The game is her finding out the truth about her past and how she learns to deal with survivors guilt, knowing it’s not her fault. I do agree that that one chapter felt unnecessary tho

Alice Madness Returns is LITERALLY about overcoming trauma and how much it affects us.

The “edge” is the result of what has happened to Alice and her mental state after the trauma she has been through. I appreciate your opinion though.
