Also no joke, drawing these backgrounds was the very first thing I seriously drew after quitting The Job That Killed My Soul/after moving so it was really daunting and scary but I busted them out in like a day or two. It really helped me get my confidence back and got me making art again ;w;

Since the video features Question Hound and David and I are such huge KC Green fans, we couldn't stop ourselves from sneaking a couple of references in- This Purge Night scene features the Jason design from Gunshow!

Jellybox was great and gave a lot of direction, so by the time I started helping, David had a lot of notes for me from the get go- Basically I would draw the background in pieces, so David could chop them up and move them around in Maya.

one time we decided to visit a park in war torn Portland and were accosted by a gathering of woke leftists celebrating "earth day." some of them worked at a kitchen that makes free meals for the unhoused and handed us a delicious egg salad.
