GREETINGS PROFESSOR FALKEN.
The PNW is the best place to be a ham radio nerd. Super inclusive and diverse community... so many queers and trans folk too. I probably would never have gotten back into the hobby if i weren't in the PNW.
The Puget Sound Repeater Group (PSRG / WW7PSR) annual picnic
So many friends all in one place.

Dearest Clara, the grinding pace of this hellish conflict proceeds. It is too much to bear somedays. This morning, our engineers and painters strategically re-channelized the roadway down from 4 to 2 lanes before the drivers were able to respond. We emerged victorious from 52nd to 55th Streets...

Volodymyr Zelenskyy about talks with russia.
And I absolutely love it:

The russians behaved a little more calmly,
although still arrogantly.
Perhaps a few more measures are needed, and they will try to behave like human beings.

1. Stop assuming people announce all their activism on social media.

2. Stop demanding people announce all their activism on social media.

3. Stop deriding people for not announcing all their activism on social media.

4. Dunking on people on social media isn't activism and isn't praxis.

soooo this is going to be a post that makes absolutely everyone unhappy:

black bloc is a part of diversity of tactics

handknit pussy hats are part of a diversity of tactics

voting is a part of diversity of tactics
Interesting thread, appreciate it. One area that I am not sure is addressed is that at least in certain parts of America we do have 'black bloc' wannabes that will co-opt these demonstrations with their own extreme goals and methods. Protecting against that takes a lot more than 'social conformity.'

One of the ways we "exported freedom" to the world was having foreign students have a taste of ours then take that back with them to their countries. Now the clown car regime is doing away with that.

One thing to remember about some of the Big Accounts here is that their political doomposting usually has one of two sources:

1) Trying to sell you something/farm clicks.
2) Using posting as a substitute for therapy.

You can sympathise with them or look away, but don't take them at face value.

If you circulated the lie, you should circulate the truth too
Sarah McBride did nothing wrong. She was literally advocating for us and the writer of this article completely misinterpreted her.

Here is the correction:

POLITICO competitor NOTUS posted a story this morning suggesting Rep. Sarah McBride is giving Democrats cover to retreat on trans rights.

The piece sparked backlash at McBride.

But NOTUS has since rewritten it multiple times, changing the takeaway without issuing a correction.
