The PNW is the best place to be a ham radio nerd. Super inclusive and diverse community... so many queers and trans folk too. I probably would never have gotten back into the hobby if i weren't in the PNW.

Interesting thread, appreciate it. One area that I am not sure is addressed is that at least in certain parts of America we do have 'black bloc' wannabes that will co-opt these demonstrations with their own extreme goals and methods. Protecting against that takes a lot more than 'social conformity.'

One of the ways we "exported freedom" to the world was having foreign students have a taste of ours then take that back with them to their countries. Now the clown car regime is doing away with that.

One thing to remember about some of the Big Accounts here is that their political doomposting usually has one of two sources:
1) Trying to sell you something/farm clicks.
2) Using posting as a substitute for therapy.
You can sympathise with them or look away, but don't take them at face value.
