Creativity is the antithesis of destruction. Took an hour this week to paint something new at our local arts center with other amateur painters and felt a little better about my corner of the world. I recently visited a warmer state and met this roadrunner that lives on my friend's windowsill.

The archiving of the NSF RCN-UBE (Research Coordination Networks - Undergraduate Biology Education) is frustrating and shortsighted. This program has funded so many excellent projects that keep students learning on the cutting edge and provide training for faculty-teachers to stay updated.
