I learned through the GOP map that Bramnick won one municipality. He swayed both voters in Tavistock. I would hope as a sometimes working standup he would find that kind of funny.

Been thinking a lot about the sounds that define our lives..

Today: The arrival of the sound of annual cicadas is how I know the lazy, hazy doldrums of August have arrived in NJ. It's a sound that immediately brings me back through summers I've had here since childhood. I love that.

My experience was trying to fly in, but it was rough the last few days.

The experience of traveling in/out of EWR this summer feels like a game of chance. Flights are coming and going. But if your flight gets caught up in air traffic control staffing shortage delays, what a miserable experience it can be. It feels like being gaslit repeatedly.

So far in July, the temperature in Philadelphia has only fallen below 70 degrees for a total of 7 hours. Ick.
