We live in a country where artists are being encouraged not to finish their federal grant apps because they will be tracked and possibly blacklisted or worse. We are in the middle of a coup and any shared vision to be inclusive seems threatened.

What’s astonishing is to consider the folks who know and love someone who will have their dignity, rights, and access to a safe and prosperous life robbed from them, and yet they still voted for this administration. The callous, selfish disregard for humanity is breathtaking.
