Was hoping for #AVX10. , #APX was quite a surprise.
#Intel released the 60th edition of the ISA Extensions Reference with official announcement of #AVX10 and #APX support on #NovaLake, and FP8 type clarifications.

Making "AI Scientists" has become a hot topic lately. The first reference I could find was from 2008. The term has been used for 20 years! Like "Adam," an AI Scientist robot for studying yeast was published in 2009. I wrote a short post about the term and what it means now.

#Intel #VPMM is back in the 7th edition of "Intel® TDX Module Base Architecture Specification (What Changed)".
Probably just a documentation bug.

It's too bad that this AVX3.1 nomenclature disappeared. I think it is much more seamless, like SSE4.2, SSE5 (original name of AMD XOP) or Armv8.2. AMX2 and AMX3.1 would be also better.
Well... AVX512 was known as AVX3 at some point... (and AVX512F was AVX3.1 for KNL guess) .. SKX was supposed to be AVX3.2 (F, CD, BW, DQ, and VL)
