I love math, logic, law, podcasting, and data. I also love art, crafts, and other creative endeavors. I have severe ADHD and most of the stereotypes fit. Life is exhausting but never boring.
When the person coming in after you promises to ruin your family members’ lives by targeting them until they find things to prosecute and is known for ruining people by dragging them through endless court, I can’t believe anyone wouldn’t protect them however they could. I would, without a doubt.

A voicemail, not a VMware (autocorrect fail)

I’m sorry you had a day like that. This is bullshit.

I sent a sympathy box to arrive by 1/7 & apparently they just never sent it. I got a VMware saying it needs to be rescheduled TODAY. And then when I called it was low quality audio, ai bot giving canned answers. It finally said it wanted to call me back after this processes. A human better call me.

Just searched here to find this, bc I’m pretty sure the agent I’m talking to is AI. She asked me to say the message my card should have had and I was pausing thinking she would need time to type and I paused too long and she said she would call me back? Like 4 words into a sentence. I was like wtf

I think a big reason nobody wants to be the universal healthcare president is because we rely on unemployment numbers as such a heavy metric of success that to eliminate the need to much of an industry would have to look bad, even if the end is better for everyone.

I didn’t do much better but yours is somehow more frustrating.

I wish, but he’s filled congress with his toxic outlook, so they will keep being obstinate after he is gone.

If you can’t understand why anyone voted R in 2024, you may be assuming all voters have your knowledge and your experiences. Listen to people who aren’t you and aren’t like you. An interesting place to start is The Wilderness Podcast. You might be surprised what undecided voters had to say.

I’m progressive and politically active, and in the past 2 months, I have muted every Blue space I’ve been added to as soon as it started growing. Once there were more than a handful of members, it was an intolerable pool of condescension against anyone who disagrees. No empathy, no understanding.

Our message won’t matter if our community culture doesn’t change.

I know the candidate can’t set the tone of online spaces or control how all people in the party act online, but it doesn’t change the fact that it affects their election. We have to do that. Maybe we have to build new spaces.
November 29, 2024 at 8:42 PM
One lesson I think Dems miss from the last 9yrs is that the community matters as much as the candidate. When you feel welcomed and included by the community, you believe more of what they say by default. When you feel excluded, you don’t believe them.
November 29, 2024 at 8:40 PM
No matter how good our candidate is, we cannot expect to convert voters if we think we are better than anyone who isn’t already convinced. The community culture pushes people away, which leaves them ripe for the exploiting of flaws. And since candidates are human, there will always be flaws.
November 29, 2024 at 8:37 PM
We need to stop attacking anyone who is considering both sides, as that’s usually what we would ask of people coming to politics. Our message should be of policy and its effects on people. And our spaces need to embrace the chance to answer questions, not be an echo chamber of condescension.
November 29, 2024 at 8:34 PM
We assume the base knowledge we have is universal, leading to the same conclusions. It isn’t. Many don’t have the bandwidth to keep up with news/politics, they are just trying to keep up with bills. (This is by design). But we have to be willing to meet them where they are and explain our thoughts.

I can already tell you have experienced growth and change from your time away. Bravo.

Now I’m worried that doesn’t count as a picture because it was probably a screenshot.

Attempt #2

Then again, most of these pics shared were probably saved from screenshots so does anything ever actually count?

This overthinking IS the image that best represents my energy, actually.

Didn’t even go to your profile… This apology deserves an immediate follow. Best public apology.

I don’t. Corporations got millions in PPP. I am glad small businesses got support in hard times. But people can use that to play mad if they like - I was genuinely curious where they could ever point to of her saying we shouldn’t forgive student loans bc I haven’t ever come across that at all.
