might try out the remake

liked it more than i hated every waking moment of it overall though id play it again

hoping to get one of these but not to use as a console just as a replacement for my current pc because goodness windows is getting worse and i dont need a giant super powerful tower sitting on the floor to use discord and play ps2 games

insofar that both are big talking points before the movie releases but then once its out people wont care that much

itd probably be a bit of a downgrade specs wise but that truly does not affect anything with the games i play

projects that have a lower upfront investment, people tend to be fine with them targeting a more niche audience that they may not end up falling in because in their mind they havent made as much of a commitment to really needing to get every last drop out of it to make it feel "worth it"

i think a lot of modern sentiment about maximizing playtime is because the hobby has become more expensive, people want to squeeze as much as they can out of games that cost like $70usd which ends up with those games being much more broadly appealing, if a little shallow in terms of challenge

seen a lot of "skill issues" in response to people just not jiving with the game which is just kinda offputting to me

should i be aware of what this means is this me being old or just simply oblivious

sounds mean what i said but i really quite liked the first game so secret of mana not being better so far is fffffine? but i did expect more and there are some odd moments where it feels clunkier compared to the Game Boy Game

i might. pick it.up. but not on launch and probably not for $70

i will say i liked air ride a decent amount and top ride might be fun (not holding my breath based on top ride in the original) but city trial just really doesnt do it for me

the game is no worse for having it obviously but it being kind of the main mode people like The Most just doesnt work for me

which is what i expected going into it so im not heartbroken or anything
wasnt big on the original so a sequel that is kind of fundamentally the same game with more polish and time and content just wasnt gonna be for me
