You aren't wrong, but I would personally compare Pokemon fans to Disney adults moreso than Nintendo fanatics. Pokemon's quality and Pokemon fans' low standards for it are very similar to Disney adults and the shit Disney pumps out. Nintendo fans at least have higher standards.

Literally why I have no idea why theyre doing remakes of those other than for more money. Halo 2 Anniv is already really good and still looks like it couldve come out last year. Halo 3 literally doesnt need a remake at all. The gameplay still holds up really well. Just give it a remaster.
