Bridge NPCs

Players can take on the Captain's role, use the holo-display to select targets, instruct the Science Officer to perform scans, and direct the Helmsperson for navigation.

This update also allows Science Officer players to remain at their station, a highly requested feature!

He also added some visible light shafts, which you'll be able to see with volumetric fog enabled.

Organic 3D Printers

We've built a very early version of our organic 3D printers for the VIP lounge kitchens. They are a very basic work in progress, but a bit of fun for now!

Interactive Holo-Display

The Holo Display is now interactable, allowing you to click celestial objects in 3D space to target them on sensors. The goal is for the Captain to mirror any bridge station to the Holo Display and issue crew commands via a context-aware 3D UI menu.

Internal Development Build 0.225.0.83 - So many wall panels.

• Updated the curved corner framework geometry at the fore of C Deck for better fit/layout.
• Added numerous new floor panels on C Deck.
• Added numerous new wall panels on C Deck.
• Started adding some doorframes around C Deck.

We've added various fixes and little tweaks in this week's patch, including 'non-playable' pool balls and cues ( you can throw them around though :D ), and nanite tesselation to planetary surfaces, giving them very basic 3D terrain (from orbit - not landable surfaces).

I'm happy to announce that after what feels like an eternity, the Cold & Dark update is now live across the board for all players, including the public Demo. It's been a long road with many moving goalposts, but we're finally there!

The second tutorial is close (ish) to being finished, we just need to put it all together and we can then set it live.

As of our next update we're now using Nanite, which means from now on all game objects will have their detail turned up to 11!
