that's the nature of a Chinese written game I feel (the Love/Shining Nikki games are somehow also like this)...I use the Story Reader fans have made bc I can no longer stand clicking thru the VN style scenes akgcc.github.io/cc/story.htm... it has visuals and music too! goes much quicker
