@magic.wizards.com if you had errata'd the card to "it deals damage equal to its power to another target creature an opponent controls." instead of whatever you did, it'd be a really cool card outside of sealed formats, but now it's just unplayable. thanks for squandering this opportunity.

Their way of spelling it out leaves less room for interpretation, even if it is a bit harder to parse.
But then again, Magic hasn't always been the easiest game to parse in the first place. Have some examples that may take a few read-throughs to parse. In hard to hardest order:
