EVs beat petrol cars on lifetime emissions — even on “dirty” grids.
Battery production is carbon-intensive, but EVs quickly repay that debt and end up 21–71% cleaner over 250,000 km.

We can’t wait for perfect grids: electrify transport and clean the grid now.

The association between robins and the Oak King is rooted in Celtic mythology and Pagan lore. The robin is the bird representation of the Oak King, who battles the Holly King (represented by a wren) for dominance at the turning of the year.

I love a successful woman, but this feels like getting rich quick by playing to humans bizarre desire to try and get rich quick. Hell, someone probably just made a fortune by betting she would make a fortune and close a funding round to get rich quick people.com/29-year-old-...

@handsoffnyc.bsky.social is training thousands of New Yorkers on how to protect their neighbors from ICE. Today, they are currently running two trainings in Brooklyn and the Bronx, both of which hit capacity because interest was so high.

This is the way, y’all—we protect each other, and we know it.

I love to see improvement in battery recycling technology! Most people incorrectly believe electric vehicle batteries have to be replaced often because warranties are typically for 8 years. The truth is that these batteries actually maintain a lot of usable capacity well beyond. ⚡🔋

China has dramatically more solar energy capacity than the rest of the world and at far less cost.

The reason? They invested for long-term success.

Even if you don't care about a cleaner world (you should), you probably care about a less expensive one.

Electric vehicles plus renewable energy ☀️🔋✌️
The shift to EVs is happening—fast. Manufacturers can either embrace the long-term transition or chase short-term gains by clinging to petrol and diesel.

China is choosing the long view. Many in Europe aren’t. The risk? Ending up with cars no one wants, lost market share, and shuttered factories.

Owls are often #LookingAtYou when you are looking at them. #BirdOfTheDay 🪶

Barred Owls and Great Horned Owls are both fierce hunters, capable of pushing out rivals. When other birds, including corvids, warblers and thrush see these fluffy predators they will very vocally make it known!
