A huge problem with humanity is that we tend to take what we experience and expect that is normal for the whole of humanity. It seems ridiculous when you read it like that, doesn't it? For example, some people communicate best by speaking. Somehow this has become expected as the norm for the whole of humanity, although some people communicate better by reading and writing (or in other ways). Then we are told to worry if our child speaks "late" - even if they are showing signs of wanting to read and write early. We are then told to limit their access to screens. What a cruelty for a child who finds it easiest to communicate through reading and writing... I find it easiest to communicate through reading and writing - and the invention of computers and smart phones has transformed my life. We need to rethink screen time regulations for children - and there needs to be a less fear-filled, one-size-fits-all approach - so every child can blossom into the adult they are meant to be! My niece Adelle ("Addy") helps Mom clean the litter boxes... or she & Joe may not have been able to keep all 4.

Mom brought Stacie home for her, & Cookie for Joe in August 2022 (from litter of Joe's great niece Haylee) - but didn't remember rascally cats could start reproducing at 6 months. 😹

I'm taking a can of corn & a can of cranberry sauce to work. 🙂

Right center: Vegetarian "Celebration Roast" (from which I already cut a couple slices off of right side) Left bottom corner: Green bean casserole with cream of mushroom soup, a splash of milk, and topped with "Freedom Fried" onions, as the Q/Rs likely call the topping instead of "French," LOL!
