i've only played blue and crystal for the longest time so i started a playthrough of black and i think it's neat so far. looks nice as well. a friend was nice enough to edit my save file to have this porygon c-gear skin... i love u porygon,,,

i died so much this playthrough btw i felt so embarrassed with myself. i wish i was even half as good as i used to be at these games. wasn't fully satisfied with this one at the time (still not) but it could have been worse

had a really fun time replaying advance 3. i forget just how eye candy this game and 2 are. love them a lot

god this game's so fucking peak, man. i'm already finding these fun sequence breaks with something like ice sacred fist to reach just high enough up ledges that would normally require you to have the sylph feather. this game is literally my crack

after actraiser 2 made me shrivel up like a raisin earlier i decided to see just how drastic the difficulty change was and it's very noticeable coming off of the US release first

beat x68 castlevania earlier. i've only ever played original mode once on chronicles and never tried it again. kinda why i asked about the whole modified rom situation cause i wanted to play the game again but on the actual system. still evil! it's good but comically evil with those damage values

beat bravoman. probably one of the longest arcade games i've ever played but it's a super soulful game so all is forgiven....

my wife and i started the super metroid/a link to the past crossover randomizer. i play alttp since i grew up with it and know it like the back of my hand and she plays sm since it's the same case for her. it's been making us go insane but it's been fun. we went with adol for link&shantae for samus

after finally getting that ng1cc out of the way, i decided to give ninja gaiden 2 nes another shot after my thoughts on it the first time being *pretty* negative. i'm glad to say that on replay, it's actually pretty alright to me now
