The CDC's SARS-CoV-2 wastewater report is back, post-shutdown, and I gotta admit, I have a hard time believing that things have improved this much in eight weeks.

I'd never heard a live version of this song until the night before last, and I've watched this video a dozen or more times since then. It's the first song that hooked me after my ear died and became TINNITUS. 😬 I was afraid music had been ruined for me. Not so! 🙏

Shout out to the small subsection of Mac users like me who haven't updated their operating system and also follow Bob Mould on Threads.

When pondering how dumb and doomy the future of the United States seems to be, be sure to factor-in the existence of this image, which a classmate from high school is using as his Facebook profile pic.

Autumn’s coming on quick in Sunderland, Vermont. Finally some much needed rain.

Bonus: the Lucius is signed by Jess and Holly. They were very kind to me, during a very difficult period in my life. Hooked me up with tix, because I didn’t manage to convince my friends that they *had* to go to the show until shortly after it’d sold out. (Doug Fir, Portland, Ore. February, 2014)

I grabbed these as options for an overcast day, but it looks like it might be brightening up. #CDFriday

Here's one that's sorta been forgotten over time: Eurythmics' soundtrack to the film 1984, a source of bad feelings between the band and the filmmakers, who opted not to use most of the music and commissioned an alternate soundtrack without the band's knowledge. #CDFriday

Whoops, I got too involved with drinking beer out back yesterday and forgot to post this for #CDFriday: New Buffalo's 2007 album, Somewhere, Anywhere. Recently removed from streaming platforms.

I hadn't played it straight through in many years. ❤️ its whimsical, melancholy, storybook vibe.

Draplin's having a poster sale. I'm not sure I'm feeling steady enough about my income to partake, but I'm loving how numerous places I've worked and people I've worked with are featured in these two. www.draplin.com

What’s a film you watch once a year, like it’s a ritual?
#filmsky 🎬

Every year, soon after Christmas.

@hcrichardson.bsky.social Found this shot from May in my photos and thought you might get a kick out of it. Hiding from the bugs in our screen tent, in Sunderland, Vermont. Learning, and feeling slightly less stressed and insane.

Thanks, as always. 🇺🇸 🙏

Strange. This Amber Alert hit my phone days late, after the poor girl had been found dead. At first I thought that a second girl had gone missing.

Do they only come through certain cell signals? Signal at home is weak, but I’m always on WiFi. The alert arrived while I was driving into town.

The two albums that Apple Music lists as The Police's essentials are the two albums I can 100% live without.

Missed #CDFriday yesterday but hey, here I am now.

This may be the first time I’ve ever played this one. First heard it in the mp3 era and found a used CD somewhere along the way.

Anyway, it’s dumping rain here in Sunderland, Vermont. #herenow

I'm watching the first season of Alone: Australia and one of the contestants lays down this heavy quote:

“I think the universe bends its attention and holds its breath whenever humans make a stand for something, whatever it is.”

The original black and white drawing is from 1990 or so. I colored it maybe five years later, when I was first digging into Photoshop. I generated the image on the right today, using GPT image via Adobe Firefly.
