Rosie is surely more than just a regular Sinner (as otherwise it'd make no internal sense for her to have been able to make her deal in the first place), but I'm not convinced of the angelic connection either—I think the neck is more of a stylistic nod to her turn-of-the-century neck ruffles than >

Yep; the GOP has shown itself very clearly to be a party of people who are more than happy to embrace fascism, and there's no recovery from that. They will forever be tainted by that affiliation, just like the AfD is in Germany.

Even if it is true, and she's no longer supporting Trump, it doesn't (or shouldn't) change anything. She has been—and still is—a reprehensible person, and this isn't the first time she's been critical of Trump in order to make some political hay.

1/? — At the broadest level, I think an underlying principle has to be that we need to codify ACTUAL rules for a lot of things we currently have as just 'expectations' that people will behave properly. Trump showed us that doesn't work.

He will, of course, be an incompetent idiot of a villain who has merely surrounded himself with hordes of slavish cultists, but once you fight your way through all his mooks, he's really easy to take down.
