A very low turn out in the Deputy Leader election for Labour indicating a disillusioned membership.
However the result indicates those who voted are very dissatisfied with Keir Starmer & his abandonment of true Labour values.
Starmer has got to go!

Very sadly, but predictably, Trump's peace plan is proving to be all headlines & rhetoric.
Unless more pressure is put on Israel to step back from Gaza things will continue to downwards spiral.

Israel is continuing to starve the Palestinian population of Gaza because Hamas is having trouble finding the bodies of some Israeli hostages who are buried under the rubble of Gaza along with tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians.
Hamas said this would be the case before any prisoner exchange.

But in saying this Netanyahu was ABUSING THE WORD OF GOD for his own political ends. You see when God said these words to Abram/Abraham there was no Israel … Abram’s grandson Jacob (later renamed by God as Israel) had not been born and there was also no nation of Israel. Now some might argue that the promise was for Abram and his descendants (who in actual fact are physically Jewish, Christian and Muslim). But the New Testament clearly says that the children of Abraham are not made by an accident of birth, shared ethnicity or shared religion. Jesus said it and John the Baptist said it and Paul said it (John 8:33 – 59; Matthew 3:9; Romans 2:28 – 29 & 9:8). Rather, the spiritual children of Abraham are those who put their faith in Jesus … Jews and Gentiles who follow Jesus … members of the Commonwealth of Israel (Galatians 3:7 & 29). It is these people … Messianic Jews and Gentile Christians ... who are the heirs of the promises made to Abram (Galatians 3:29) … NOT a pariah man made state which is guilty of so many atrocities against man and God.

From Ground Zero... a critically acclaimed, must see film from 22 Palestinian film directors living with the reality of the horror in Gaza. Nominated for 'Best International Feature' at this year's Oscars it's on around the UK at the moment. I'm off to the see it on Wednesday at The Light in Bolton.
