There’s a lot of slow motion. The episodes were running up to eight minutes under. The only way to stretch them out was with slow motion. And we tried to keep the slow motion away from the dialogue as much as possible. Anything without dialogue was considered for slow motion.

I spent five minutes evaluating UK Children's Laureates by how many letters in their name can be found in "Children's Laureate"

Excellent showings for Chris Riddell and Lauren Child (although Riddell should really be docked a point for his extra 'd'), less good news for Coelho and Morpurgo

quite a fun round-trip version:
- tale of the Buddha appears in Arabic
- gets translated into Georgian, Buddha and his teacher Bilawhar becomes Christians Josaphat and Barlaam
- J&M canonised by Gregory VIII
- Jesuits use story of J&M to convert Japanese from Buddhism

Given that the recommendation came out in 2023, I wrote to my MP about it and got a fairly boilerplate response in May. I assumed it was on the back burner.

CERN ran a project trying to basically do this. Some nice stuff came out of it, they have a huge Mattermost instance. But they still ended up with quite a bit of reliance on COTS
