Today is the day my wife and my 17yo dog go to Spain to live for a month. we nearly didn’t make it due to the USDA being gutted to sign off on my dog, @americanair.bsky.social botched my tickets and we made the plane by 5s, their staff acted like they know they’re being fired tomorrow. Fingers crosd

I was already looking for a new gig when I got laid off. Glad to not need to defend this racist asshat to my friends and family anymore. And for the record he’s a lousy engineer, we just told him “sure, Elon”, then proceeded to do the real work once he flew off for two more weeks.
