also makeship campaigns are crazy. if you look at what campaigns get funded and what dont, a lot of the time, even a high follower count does NOT guarantee a success

i think arceus is actually one of the best pokemon games of recent years. i cant really compare it to other video games bc i dont play other video games but the old timey japanese town had so many little details that i loved! and i really liked the way the battle system and movepools were cleaned up

Developing muscle memory is always good but digital art doesn't have to be that way all the time! I've kind of never been a painter or a calligrapher style of artist though, and admittedly I'm slow, so it might be bias

It's totally out of your usual style but it might be interesting to try out vector layers for lines, maybe even just once or twice, just to see what you could construct if you treated the ink layer like a flexible wire you could fine tune instead of a physical exercise in stroke production.
