Furry writer, devourer of books and manga, generally every bit as nerdy as you'd imagine. Trying to relax more and be online less. (they/them).
Yeah, that was one of several motivations when I started making reading a much bigger part of my daily life last year. It took some time to break the browsing habit and I'm still not totally free from social media (I'm here after all) but it's been great. <3

It was only after I finished the series that I saw stuff online hornyposting about Nagi. Admittedly I'm ace so my brain just doesn't go there unless prompted anyway, but yeah, I just enjoyed it for the "enthusiastic amateur learns stuff from a friendly expert" vibes and general cuteness!

Eesh, I'm not even aware of the whole harassment situation (as I said, very out of the loop on anything 'irl/in person furry'), but that sounds awful and makes me glad I didn't even attempt it if that was likely to be the result. :/

Oh I'm sure I could sort out an attendance only thing, but that would require me to sort out a hotel elsewhere in Bham and stuff too, and me being me these days I rely so much on being able to retreat to the quiet of my hotel room whenever I want, so not having residential attendance would suuuuck.

Fitting if the book is "There is no Antimemetics division".

Haha true! Though I feel like Seinfeld could be called Seinfeld with depression except it was the 90s so the only characters that were allowed to have mental health problems rather than just being "kooky" were ones where the show was about them being in therapy. 😭

It makes the driver come off so much worse than if they'd apologised and asked if the contents were still acceptable, to which I would have said yeah it's fine. But I never had that chance because he was clearly too scared of me being pissed and taking it out on him.

It clearly broke open along a spot where it had been sealed badly, no fault of the driver at all, and everything within was fine even if one book got a little dented. But literally pushing the package into my hands and powerwalking away without even acknowledging the issue... eesh. :c

...still hasn't gotten very far, so if you're interested in the romantic side accompanying the physical, just bear that in mind. :)

"The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter" is surprisingly explicit in light novel form. Like, it's handled very matter of factly and directly that gay sex happens multiple times. Having only read the first book so far though, the emotional side of the already very physical relationship...

The series director half way through shooting the first season: "Wait, is this just Seinfeld?"
