Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has plenty of the good stuff. It also has an incredibly annoying, incredibly un-Metroid sidekick who won't shut up.

As a Nintendo fan who's often frustrated by their handling of mods and fan work - and someone who's never even played FFXIV before - I respect Yoshi-P's letter a lot.
