It’s genuinely one of my biggest pet peeves with translated works now, it feels lazy and discrediting. I remember reading manga a lot when I was younger and as soon as I saw a word I didn’t recognize just. Heading to the back of the book to understand the term. It’s so easy man 😭😭

UHG yes I remember this..makes me so mad,it’s not hard to trust your readers to look at a glossary for terms that aren’t familiar to them. In certain terms it was understandable for him to be pissed off but with the context of “hyung” it completely changes like “yea i get why he was so fucking mad!”
