Picked these off a valley along the Umpqua River in Oregon. The area usually produces 2-3”. This year they’re huge with my largest going 8”. Picked about 15lbs this year. Also just found out they retail for $20 per lbs now. I’m freakin rich! Well until I eat them

Yesterday was both sad and exciting. We took our black lab to her final resting place. Catering her ashes by a cluster of Douglas fir trees
As we walked out we spotted a couple Chantelle’s, then more and more. Chanterelle fettuccine and lamb for dinner!
