Atheism isn't the first religion to be rude about other religions. That's one feature it has in common with many other religions.

It functions pretty similarly. I afford Atheists the same respect I grant to other religions. I even respect Atheists right to be rude about other religions because being rude is a big part of their religion.

I get that but that's not the text you were referencing. All I am saying is that text was about the University respecting the right to express sincerely held religious beliefs which seems inoffensive to me. I am not sure what that has to do with the constitution.

It doesn't say you have to respect their religious beliefs. It's suggesting that you respect their right to express those beliefs.
