Toronto’s new Biidaasige Park has wonderful bridges.

Made in Nova Scotia, towed down the St Lawrence on barges. Love them!

#FreelanceFriends The other day I mentioned that a woodpecker landed on my arm when I was photographing. Here he is. Not exactly sharp. Just aimed and shot with the previous settings. This was the best of two.

Never had a bird pet, so this was new for me.

If you’re planning on visiting Sicily (highly recommend), don’t miss Valley of the Temples. Ancient Greek site, near the south coast.

All the details are here:

My friend and partner at my first agency, Simon Burn, just made a feature film, did the photography, and designed the poster. A talented lad he is.

Keep your eyes open. The film will be showing soon in North America and Europe.

Didn’t see one this time, but…

Heard our garbage bins being knocked around at night. They’re bear-proof.
Saw fresh bear poop by a blueberry bush
Couldn’t use a playground – aggressive bear in the area
They’re everywhere…

I’m gonna blame it on the algorithm, but really, it’s cause today is a travel day from Vancouver back to Toronto.

Been on the west coast for a month visiting family. It’s been grand!

With so much music, it’s sometimes possible to forget some of the truly great albums.

This is one of them. Epic. Soulful. Worth your time. Miss Jason Molina.

Money depends on trust.

No trust, no money.

Hey #FreelanceFriends I’m on Canada’s west coast visiting family, so of course I don’t know what day or time it is.

Just occurred to me that today is Thursday. Someone was asking about Q3 plans. Here’s mine…

Food in Sicily can be very delicious, but also so so. Got tired of “street food”. Looked for better restaurants.

We stayed 5 nights on a big olive farm. They had a wonderful kitchen and we had 4-course dinners outside.

Here it is. The two windows on top was our room.

More travel. Vienna a couple of years ago. So much art, architecture… Would go back. So much we missed. All the best of the old Austro-Hungarian empire. #FreelanceFriends

Trip was great. 3 weeks in Sicily. Was on Mt Etna 6 days before it started to rumble. It always smokes a bit. Saw lots of ancient Greek temples. Drank lots of wine. Stayed on a great olive farm/hotel. Got crazy driving stories. Don’t have many pix (took on my Nikon) but here’s one.
