Crows roost at night for safety and warmth. In major cities that is often near areas with tall buildings. The best time to watch is at sunset. This is a crow with white feathers which still visits frequently.

Three members of the local feline stray colony. A grey tabby kitten . Black female mother of several who has now lost that band around her neck. And "Mr. Happy" the orange/white who liked to hiss and was severely underfed. That changed! He is fit now. Winter is coming and no one can take them in😞

180,000 US lives could have been saved if the child rapist who is in Asia now would have just behaved like a normal adult accepted the FACT a disease was here and taken proper measures to stop it. But no it never stops when a psychopath is given the keys.

Echinacea and giant blue hyssop are also goldfinch favorites. Especially hyssop after bloom. Giant blue hyssop is a bee magnet feeds birds and can be used for human consumption. A must have IMO

Great photo. Had a visitor from Germany with Merlin app just wondering about until she came upon what she came to film in the USA. Blue Jays in the yard. Rarely have I felt so humbled. Jesse came back the next am and was there an hour shooting away. A young person dedicated to birding is the best!

Stunning photo! I easily go through a pound a day of shelled peanuts and a pound of whole corn each day in this feeder in fall. When the leaves are gone bird traffic slows. The best feeder I have by far for bird watching but you need it elevated and use a METAL squirrel baffle or you go broke
