Aletsch Glacier forefield is so gigantic that fieldwork is demanding there!
Today was maybe one of the hardest working day ever...
Took me 3h40 to get back to Belalp with 40kg (rope, chainsaw, wood)... 😫

It was a very intense day: nine hours on site, searching tirelessly for wood under every rock!

Now I have 40 kg to carry back to Zermatt on foot at night!

This isolated ice cliff contains a treasure!

To the right of my pole, a trunk is protruding out of the ice, stuck against a boulder!

I couldn't believe it when I spotted this brown patch first!
