I've been working on even more emotes, and managed to make a few frame by frame animated ones! They're pretty cute, but good grief it takes so much time! 😅

the way there's always this one week where I'm really depressed and the loneliness could crush me, but at the same time I'm upset and would like to burn every single bridge I have, and sulk in bed forever in indignant misery

So I've discovered that it's no joke to draw 48 emotes in one go 😰
But I did it, they're finally done! 😭

Next up are 30-something animated emotes, but I don't think I have it in me to also do these in one go, so I'll spread them out over the rest of this year 😅

I should also add that I get a lot of immersion through anime and constantly listening to livestreams, and any words that I look up I try to add to a spreadsheet (which I'm probably putting into Anki later)

I've finished Genki so at the moment I'm just doing Kaishi 1.5k on Anki! Other than that I chat a lot with Japanese friends, which is really good for output and also input

Once I continue the grind more "properly" I'm going to slowly go through the Tobira books I think 😊
