Well, we know what context, and I tried to explain that it sort of meant 'to fawn over' or like 'to give high praise' or something to that extent, but when she expressed confusion for how it could mean that or where the phrase came from, I refused to explain further.

I've said for a long time that people should be required to retake the drivers exam every 5 years, but this would also need to be coupled with greater investment in public transportation.
