This would benefit literally everyone except the insurance companies, and large corporations who want to keep employees trapped under otherwise disadvantageous conditions. So much of our healthcare spending goes to corporate profits instead of healthcare.

Modern Indentured Servitude. Abosultely unconstitutional. But…what if this administration, raised the cost of health insurance drastically, deported low-wage migrants, and put highly restrictive work requirements for SNAP benefits, could they get people to “volunteer” to a “legal” equivalent?
