One of my children was also a Down Syndrome girl. Kelly was a sweetheart who died in 1975, just short of her 10th birthday from the Hong Kong flu epidemic. She was loved by everyone who ever met her, and it still hurts us to hear people snidely called the 'R' word.

Some of the hardest questions are: what day of the week is it today? Where are you right now? What city? What state? Who is the current president? Really hard stuff like that. 🙄

What's especially sad is that she was used by Trump for a political point and she really didn't have to be sent there, but she did her duty anyway.

So showing respect to a 20 year old soldier who died in service of her duty, following your orders, Mr Trump, depends on how well you did in her home state in the 2024 election? Americans deserve your respect if you are really President of the whole US - they shouldn't have to earn it with votes.

Me too. I remember once when my client was being deposed by opposing counsel, who was trying to establish a time line. He asked which things were precedent and antecedent to each other. My client didn't understand & was answering wrong, very confused. I made him a chart with arrow definitions.

He should be slapped for speaking to anyone like that.
